Mundialito 2025

Mundialito is played in Costa Daurada, Spain (1h south of Barcelona). Mundialito means “little World Cup” in Spanish and the tournament holds true to its name. It is one of the largest and most prestigious youth tournaments where top teams from around the world come to participate in this event. It is an event that completely immerses the players in the international world of "Futbol". Players get to experience a higher level of play and the international culture surrounding the game they love

Rosters will be formed with players from different US regions / states and also international players from Spain. We do not promise a particular teammate or roster. Our goal is to provide a high-quality international soccer opportunity, not a particular roster or teammate.

1- Players are evaluated / invited from our FutStars Training Sessions / Camps and/or through our coaching network.

2- Specific tryout Sessions for players interested in Mundialito scheduled upon request.

3- We may also observe players on their own team / club if we need further evaluation.

Is this trip limited to the players and one guest?

Absolutely not! We love when the entire family joins us for this transformative experience!

Because teams are formed by players in Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida and Virginia, it is very hard to have any kind of team practice. Spanish players are also added to the roster to make it multi-cultural. Unless 8 or more players are placed onto the same team, it is extremely difficult to hold training sessions.

All teams are the same gender.

No, we let families organize their own flights. We will have a meeting point in Barcelona Airport on March 23rd 2024 to take a bus together to the tournament hotel / site. Your flight should not land later than 1 pm if you are planning to take the shuttle bus to the tournament hotel as 3 pm will be the last departing bus.

We will also provide bus transportation from hotel to airport on March 31st 2024 for departure. We expect buses to leave very early in the morning as most of the international flights from Barcelona Airport depart in the morning

We will finalize bus times once we receive arrival and departure times from all our families

Land time should be no later than 3pm.

If your player has a game in the morning - player will have breakfast with the team, depart to the game as a team, depart back to the hotel as a team, have lunch as a team followed by a training session/activity. Player will be dismissed for the rest of the day to spend time with own family.

If your player has an afternoon game - player will have breakfast with the team, followed by a light training session/activity (nothing demanding of their bodies since they’ll have a game to play), will have lunch with the team, depart to the game as a team, depart back to the hotel as a team, they will be dismissed to spend the remainder of the day with own families once back to the hotel.

Players and guess(es) must stay with the group. This cohesion is an important part of the trip and reduces the strain of logistics for everyone.

Required uniform package includes nine items: two jerseys, two shorts, two socks, one training top, one set of warm-up jacket and pants. Extra items are also available for purchase.

It is very common for players to exchange pins and jerseys throughout the tournament. FutStars pins for trading during the tournament are optional to buy but you will probably want to order at least 10-20 for your child to exchange their team badge with players from other countries and professional clubs. Younger players especially enjoy exchanging and collecting pins throughout the tournament ($2.00 each).

Players can also exchange jerseys with other players so it is also a good idea to bring extra jerseys (old or new)

The event is offering a 70% refund if they are canceled. We will give 100% of the fees that we receive from the events and institution directly back to families as soon as we receive them. We understand the concern and risk around this type of event and want to assure everyone that in the event it is canceled we will work tirelessly with each organization to get back as much as possible. Families can seek to find individual coverage for their trip.

* The risk of cancellation is minimal unless we get hit with another pandemic.

• Cancellation before December 1st, 2024 : $500 per person is lost

• Cancellation before January 1st, 2024: $750 per person is lost.

• Cancellation before February 1st, 2024: $1,000 per person is lost.

• Cancellation on/ after February 1st, 2024: Entire registration fee is lost.
