The Madrid & Barcelona Girls Experience is an invitation-only international program designed for ambitious female players looking to challenge themselves against top competition while experiencing the culture and style of Spanish soccer.
Players will begin their journey in Madrid, training with experienced Spanish coaches in a professional environment before traveling to Barcelona to compete in the prestigious SWIT Cup, one of Spain’s premier international girls tournaments.
This isn’t just another soccer trip—it’s an opportunity to grow as a player, compete at a high level, and create unforgettable memories alongside teammates from around the world.

Why Spain?
Spanish soccer is recognized around the world for its technical quality, creativity, tactical intelligence, and passion for the game.
Throughout the week, players will experience what makes Spanish development unique through professional training sessions, competitive matches, and cultural experiences that extend well beyond the field.
Whether it’s training in Madrid or competing in Barcelona, every day is designed to help players become more confident, more independent, and better prepared for the next stage of their soccer journey.
Player Eligibility
Players are eligible for selection by participating in XR summer and winter camps and being selected by professional scouts. A positive work ethic and attitude combined with elite mental fitness are your recipes for success. Madrid players must be mature, focused, and ready to push themselves beyond their limits without crumbling. Only then will they be considered for this prestigious trip abroad.
All players must be accompanied by a chaperone aged 18 or older. If a parent is unable to attend, the player may travel with another family, as long as a designated adult chaperone assumes responsibility and a notarized minor travel consent form is provided.
Families may add as many guests as they’d like ⎼ siblings, grandparents, and extended family are welcome
All guests will stay at the same hotel for ease, comfort, and shared cultural experience

4-Star Hotel accommodations

Madrid Training Phase
Players begin their journey in Madrid where they will:
✔ Train in high-intensity technical and tactical sessions
✔ Work directly with UEFA A Licensed coaches
✔ Compete in preparation matches against Spanish academy opposition
✔ Explore iconic landmarks including Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, and Gran Vía
✔ Enjoy an optional visit to the legendary Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
Players will experience the intensity and expectations of the Spanish training environment while learning directly from coaches who develop players within one of the world’s top soccer cultures.
After training in Madrid, the group will travel to Barcelona to compete in the SWIT Cup, an international tournament featuring clubs and academies from across Spain and around the world.

Madrid CFF is a Spanish women’s football club founded in 2010 and recognized for:

The rosters comprise players from different US states/regions and international Spanish players. We aim to prepare the players for an immersion experience by introducing them to other athletes worldwide.

Players who attend XR Soccer training summer and winter camps are evaluated for attendance to Madrid. Sometimes, a tryout can be scheduled for evaluation upon request. Some players may be observed at their club if further evaluation is required.

Because teams are formed with kids from all over the USA and Spain, having training sessions beforehand is extremely rare due to logistics.

There is no limit to the number of family members who would like to travel to Madrid with their player. We say the more, the merrier! We require one chaperone, but encourage more!

All teams are comprised of players of the same gender.

Airfare is not included in the price and is the responsibility of the players and their families. We recommend flying in before 1 p.m. on April 14th, as we will provide a meeting point at the Madrid airport with bus transportation leaving at 3 p.m.
Bus transportation is also provided for return flights and will be finalized closer to the tournament.

Land time should be no later than 1pm.

We work with the tournament to get premier hotels for our players and their families. The hotels will be finalized in February or early March.

No. Players and families must stay at the recommended hotels to maintain team cohesion and ease logistics.

The uniform is included in the price and consists of a complete Madrid CFF game kits.

Players trade pins and jerseys throughout the tournament. If your child wishes to participate in exchanges, please bring a few jerseys from home. Pins are available for sale, and we recommend buying 10-20 to trade.

While the risk of the Madrid trip being canceled is low (unless we have another pandemic), the tournament will refund 70% of your funds in the event of a cancellation. Once we receive the refund, we will get it back to you quickly. Families are welcome to seek additional trip insurance at their discretion.
